    2K replacement axle for a DK2 trailer

    The original axle on my DK2 was bowed somewhere and causing both trailer tires to wear on the inside. I starting consulting AI about a replacement axle and it pointed me toward TrailerParts Outlet. I had to do a custom order of 47" between spring hangers and 58" from hub face to hub face. I had to go 1 inch longer to get Trailer Parts Outlet to build it. I recieved the axle and u bolts about 4 weeks later. Everything bolted up perfectly. I pulled both hubs to make sure that the bears were properly packed. Everything was good. Going to extra 1 inch in length actually worked better with the 13" tires that I installed by making a little more clearance between the inside of the fender and inside tire sidewall. Overall very pleased.
